You don’t have to do anything to join the programme. As an existing partner you will be automatically enrolled onto the new Partner Programme on the launch date. You don’t have to do anything to join the programme. We’ll inform you via email or phone call as to which tier you’ve been allocated.
All new partners will be automatically signed up to Registered status, and because the programme is flexible, those new partners can become Gold or Platinum as we build the partnership.
There is no cost for joining our Partner Programme. We’re investing in this programme as we want you to receive greater rewards and benefits, and the more engagement and activities we do together, the greater the benefits, especially as you move to Gold and Platinum status. You can choose how much you wish to participate in the partnership and investment can also take many forms including technical integrations, sales initiatives, co-marketing activities, and exercises that increase brand visibility for both parties.
For Registered Partners the requirements are minimal, whereas for Platinum partners there will be a higher need to invest in the partnership. For more information, see section 7.0 Further Queries.
In order to provide a more structured, fairer system amongst our partners we have created three tiers; Registered, Gold and Platinum. Each tier has a set of criteria, and in return greater benefits are available. At Registered status we have ensured that the goals are achievable for all, and the benefits are better than those received under our current scheme.
For example, partners in the Registered tier only need to display our Opayo logo on their website and partner pages, or sales collateral.
Should a Registered partner wish to progress to Gold or Platinum status, then we can work with them to achieve this, as the programme is aspirational in its design.
At the start of the new programme you’ll be allocated as a Registered, Gold or Platinum partner based on your previous activity with us.
As an existing Opayo partner, we’ll use the period March 2013 to February 2014 to identify the number and value of referrals that you made to us. If you regularly make a lot of referrals, or refer vendors of high value, then it is likely you’ll be allocated Gold or Platinum partner status.
As we track all new referrals and associated new revenue via your Unique Partner Referral URL, we do recommend you use this URL for every referral. This ensures we correctly compensate you. For more details on the Referral URL please see the section on Programme Benefits for more details.
