Once the developer account, and sandbox accounts have been created you are now ready to enable Opayo to process transactions.
To do this go to your sandbox accounts and select the tick box next to the business account you have created.
Once you have done this, choose “Enter Sandbox site” from the top of the page. This will open the PayPal Sandbox login page.
Enter the email address and password for the business account you have created and login. You will then be taken to your sandbox management screen.
Select profile, followed by my account settings – this will take you to the summary screen where you can manage the API access on your account.
Select “API Access” from the Account Information column to set-up Opayo as an API on your account.
Here, you are given 2 options for your API permissions.
You will need to select “Option 1 – Grant API permission” to add Opayo on your account.
PayPal will then ask you to enter a third party permission username for PayPal to enable Opayo.
You will need to enter : ppdev_1256915571_biz_api1.sagepay.com
Next, a list of permissions will be displayed. Select all of these and click “add”.
Opayo is now added on your PayPal test account, and available to use.
You have now fully set-up your PayPal developer and sandbox system to work with our test platform.
All that is now left for you to do is add PayPal to your Opayo test account and start processing payments.
