Due to recent changes made by PayPal to the layout and format of their Sandbox system you will need to make a number of changes to your account in order to continue to use this with your Opayo Test account.
Firstly you will need to replace your PayPal sandbox URL by navigating to the new PayPal developer landing page.
The old URL is no longer active and you will not be able to access the Sandbox system using previous links.
On the new URL you will be presented with the homepage below and you will need to log into the Sandbox environment using your current login and password.
Once you have logged into the platform you will need to select “Applications” and then “Sandbox Accounts” on the left hand of the screen. You will then gave the option to import your previous test accounts (both business and personal accounts you had stored on your original Sandbox account).
Once you have logged in using your original Sandbox account details you will only have 1 attempt to import this data. This is because PayPal will then require you to re-enter your Sandbox login and password details again to allow them to locate the Sandbox Test accounts.
You will then be shown another screen before being asked to continue.
This will allow the test accounts that are held to be fully exported.
Once you have completed the previous steps you will be able to view your Sandbox accounts which will display both the personal and business e-mail addresses.
Both your Business and Personal account passwords will remain the same and you will not need to create new details.
You will then have access to the Sandbox system as normal.
